It’s 11/11 and Veterans Day (thank you for your service, vets), and I am sharing a few favorites.
- Love is Blind – I am binge-watching Love is Blind on Netflix this week and am very curious about who will make it “outside the pods” in season 3. For those who don’t know, you date people without actually seeing their physical appearance by meeting each other in separate rooms and getting to know who they are as a person. Then you get engaged without seeing each other, finally meet in person, move in together, and decide if you are ready to get married in just four weeks. It is a social experiment to see if love really is blind and if being in love with who someone is as a person is enough to stay together if the physical chemistry is not there.
- Kendra Scott – I recently had a mini shopping trip and bought this beauty: the Kendall Stone Pendant Necklace. It is now on sale for half off at Nordstrom! I love the unique shape, the short length, and the gorgeous turquoise stone.
- Gap Cotton Modal Joggers – I have been living in these joggers! They’re soft, lightweight, have roomy pockets, and are perfect for lounging or sleeping in. They would make a great gift idea and are also on super sale!
- Eddie Merlot’s Boston steakhouse – Unfortunately, we never go out for date night (toddler twins and a baby keep us busy), but we went to Seaport to Eddie Merlot’s and had a three-course meal in celebration of the husband’s b-day! I especially loved the open kitchen protected by a glass window, the crystal chandeliers throughout, and the creme brulee! Although, to be honest, I think my husband’s French Onion Soup and Rib Eye steak were tastier than my wedge salad and lamb chops (the char on the bacon of the salad and the lamb were a bit too bitter for my liking). Still, the ambiance, service, dessert, drinks, and getting to hang sans kids made up for it, and I would definitely give it another try.
- Women’s Annika Single Band Fur Slide Slippers: Stars Above – Target has SO many options for slippers, and I can’t stop buying them! I don’t like my feet too hot, so these are the perfect solution to stay warm and cozy but not too restricting. You can run errands or step outside to take out the trash or anything you need or just wear them at home.

Love is Blind sounds interesting. I usually watch Married at First Sight where couples meet at the altar!
