Wonder recently opened a takeout-and-delivery spot at Station Landing in Medford, MA, and locations are popping up across Massachusetts. It’s a new tech‑driven food concept where you order through the app and can either grab one of the few seats inside to eat, get your food to-go, or have everything delivered. The Medford location officially opened in March 2026 and is already one of the more unique food options just outside Boston.
Located about 10 minutes from the city, Wonder isn’t a traditional restaurant. Instead, it’s a centralized kitchen offering more than 20 restaurant menus in one place. So if one person wants barbecue, another wants pizza, and someone else wants a poke bowl or salad, you can order it all together—no juggling multiple apps or delivery fees.
The menus come from well‑known chefs and restaurant brands, including Bobby Flay, José Andrés, Marcus Samuelsson, and more. Everything is designed specifically for takeout and delivery, which is the whole appeal of this multi‑restaurant delivery model.
What I Ordered (and What Actually Happened)
I ordered a spicy salmon-and-tuna bowl from Hanu Poke for my first Wonder experience.
They called shortly after to let me know they were out of salmon. Honestly, I appreciated the transparency—it didn’t bother me at all. The bowl still turned out delicious: super fresh fish, a huge portion, and a great mix of textures that made it feel way better than your average delivery meal.
My order did arrive later than the estimated delivery window. Wonder usually advertises a 30–35 minute turnaround, but mine missed that. What impressed me, though, was that they automatically added a $5 credit to my account without me needing to reach out. That kind of proactive customer service goes a long way when small hiccups happen.
Why People Are Obsessed With Wonder
One of the biggest reasons Wonder is getting so much attention is the convenience. It solves the classic “nobody wants the same thing” problem. Instead of debating cuisines, everyone can order exactly what they want from different restaurant concepts in one delivery.
The Station Landing location is especially convenient for anyone in Medford, Somerville, Malden, Everett, Cambridge, or the greater Boston area looking for an easy weeknight takeout option.
If you’ve been curious about Wonder, I think it’s worth trying just to experience the concept. I have my eye on Tejas Barbecue to try next, or Detroit Brick Pizza Co! Between the variety, portion sizes, and customer service, it’s easy to see why the brand is expanding so quickly.

Have you tried Wonder yet? I’d love to hear what you ordered and whether you’d try this multi‑restaurant delivery concept near Boston.
