What are the favorites in your world this week?
Jill Royalton says
OMG!!!!!
Sal the Italian Stallion can cook Indian food. How sexy is that! !!
That chicken tikki masala looks beyond delish!!!!
I have a question though, when you went to Antonios, you got the old salad. Is that a special where they allow the things in the salad to marinate overnight, or is it a special deal where you can buy the salad for half price like day old muffins and bread at a bakery?
Michelle says
oops not masala but actual marsala 😉
I just called it old salad because it is kind of an old favorite combo for me …salad and pasta 🙂
Jill Royalton says
Whoops
My bad…cool
Robyn Marie Wynn says
Jill, that’s too funny. Goes to show you how one one letter changes the meaning or in this case the recipe and taste.
Masala and Marsala. I love them both.
But I don’t get why you got mussels for the table? Didn’t anybody like them? Just leaving them on the table should have been a signal to the waiter that someting was wrong.
I’d tell them plain out that these mussels aren’t good and ask that they be removed from the bill,. did they do the right thing and take them off the check?
Michelle says
Oh no, when I say for the table i mean for everyone to share …as an appetizer we ordered it ! Not just for me or anything – they were really good – in a tasty broth. And always fun to eat.
Jill Royalton says
Robyn, sounds like you don’t go to many dinners with big groups. For the table is just what Michelle says “for everyone at the table; ” even if some people don’t like them.
If they don’t like mussels then they could get “eggplant rollatini for the table. ”
I bet it’s fun to go out with Sal and Michelle: one is a great cook and the other is a great and famous food critic. I bet the food talk would be like hanging around Giada DeLaurentis and James Beard or Julia Child.
Do you get lots of free stuff because you promise to post pix on your blog site? I bet you take good advantage of your food Celebrity status…it must be a real blast to have dinner with you two and share “mussels for the table. “
Michelle says
Ha you crack me up
I do get lots of freebies but I always give a disclaimer – so you know anything i posted is something i would recomend or if i dont, i am honest and tell you guys!
Robyn Marie Wynn says
That’s very cool
