Welcome to the 20th Friday Fave Five weekly post and blog hop! Each Friday I highlight five of my favorite things from the past week and link up with Mom’s Got Mail.
Don’t you just love mini desserts! I love how D’Amici’s in Melrose makes little cakes like this mini carrot cake the fiance and I shared!
2. Favorite Song:
If anyone needs a new work out, cleaning, dancing, or really music for anywhere that you want to listen to something up-beat, I am loving: Enrique Iglesias – Bailando ft. Sean Paul, Descemer Bueno, Gente De Zon!
3. Favorite in Fashion:
I am loving Jo Jo Love’s You bling earrings, especially this week because I got a whole bunch of colors back in stock! So pretty and sparkly!
4. Favorite Accessory:
Scarf season is around the corner! I seriously wear a scarf daily and I feel like I am itching for a new one! Perhaps this one?
5. Favorite Giveaway:
My baby biz teamed up with Kate Aspen to give away a $50 gift card. If you aren’t familiar with them, they have a wide range of decor and party favor options for everything from gender reveals, to a wedding, to baby showers, or even a birthday party. I am the host so I obviously can’t enter here, but if I had $50 to spend there, I would get these personalized bubbles for my future wedding:
What about you – whats new and notable this week?

That carrot cake looks yummy! And, I just introduced Bailando into my Zumba class this week. I am loving that song.

Such a perfect zumba (or in my case elliptical or jogging) song !!

Best new workout song is Odio by Romeo Santos
It’s great!!!

I would absolutely buy that scarf!

I agree with you 110% Tina.
Cool scarf

Funny you mentioned zumba…remember last summer when the zumba teacher in Kennebunkport Maine was using her studio as a front for va lit more than just fancy dancing and exercise…she was an escort…OMG
Anyway my uncle from Portland was going to those classes and I think it was for more than dance and exercise classes if you can catch my drift.
I wonder if that Enrique Iglesias song was in the class? Haha haha
I’m just happy that he didn’t bring my BF to those classes.
As for food, it’s good to see you and Sal splitting mini desserts. You know I am worried about your cholesterol with all the cheeseburgers you eat, so splitting a mini dessert is more than a good idea.

Teena, I see many inspirations for you like The fabulous Oprah, Serena Williams, Michelle Obama and Whoopi Goldberg all wearing scarves.
We Asians; except for Vera Wang, don’t gave as many fashion role models as African-American and white people have.
Michelle you should maybe blog about Asian fashion inspirations. ..
But we are good at opening restaurants…ever have Vietnamese food? It’s so good and healthy! !!!

The carrot cake looks amazing, but I couldn’t share a mini. The only thing better than a mini dessert is a full size dessert! Unless you just stuffed yourself with a entree, of course.
Itching and scarf (or sweater) should never be used in the same sentence! Lol. I can’t wait for fall (it is winter that bums me out).
Those earrings are very pretty! Does Jo Jo make other jewelry?
Michelle says
She does ! The earrings are my fave but she does bracelets and necklaces too 🙂
Jordan Prater says
I totally disagree to “nope, sorry.” I know that joJo makes or at least sells a lot of other jewelry.
Just check their site and you’ll see. Unless you were referring to ” nope, sorry” but I can share a mini dessert…I agree with you that sharing dessert is a cool thing to do
Michelle says
Oh yes i know jojo does plenty of other jewelry! I was saying nope to another comment but it ended up attached to the wrong post! Thanks for swinging by 🙂
Jordan Prater says
No problem
JoJo is great
Lan Nyugen says
Jennifer, I think it’s okay to share desserts.
As a matter of fact, I think it’s a good policy
