Don’t you just love easy recipes, where you only need to gather five things? I know I do! Check out my contribution to the dessert round of Easter dinner this year.
Don’t they look like little nests with eggs? So festive and filled with chocolate and coconut.
Here are the stars of the show.
Ingredients:
1 package of chocolate chip cookie mix
1 package of coconut M&M’s
1 1/3 c of shredded coconut flakes
1 stick of butter
1 egg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Make cookies as noted on the package: mix cookie mix with egg and butter but also mix in coconut flakes and most of the M&M’s.
Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown along the edges. Immediately place 3 or 4 “eggs” aka M&M’s into the cookie “nests” and put on cookie rack or parchment paper to allow to cool.
Serve on a plate with any extra candy and enjoy on Easter!
