Eat and Sip in the City

Worthwhile reads from the web this week

Here are my worthwhile reads from the web this week (for this week 9/3):

Back in July, she posted a summer fruit leather recipe and now she is back at it again! This time with a fall-centric Apple Cinnamon Fruit Leather recipe on Baked by Rachel.

As much as I love fruit leather, I also love fruit bars! I want to try the OneBar posted on Tasting Table this week, when it comes to the east coast.

I love an easy cucumber salad recipe as a side dish with a sandwich or along with dinner. On Maggie Monday on the Rantings of an Amateur Chef (where I have guest blogged!) she posted one this week.

On Sundays in the fall and winter, I always make larger, more time consuming soups, chili, and other comfort food. Since I live solo, I usually divvy them up into portions and freeze the majority. 5 Dollar Dinners has a whole list of recipes to Fill Your Freezer with My Ten Favorite Frozen Meals that I want to try.

Besides cooking on Sundays, it is also the best day of the week for many to watch football! Closet Cooking posted 25 game day snack recipes that look ridiculously cheesey, crunchy, tasty…the list of words to describe them all goes on and on!

7 Summer To Fall Wardrobe Ideas will be helpful this month as the temps start to drop!

Little Bitty Bakes posted Snickers Peanut Butter Bars that sound pretty darn amazing.

Talk about mushroom mania. My bff loves mushrooms more then anything and this recipe sounds pefect for her and her hubby since it is so easy but satisfying, from the Gouda Life.

This post on Cupcakes and Cashmere makes me realize I need to step up my airport attire and look a bit more sleek instead of focusing only on being comfy. Check out these tips for traveling.

New Boston restaurant alert! Potbelly Sandwich Shop opened downtown!

Hope you had a great weekend!

I’m very happy to read this. This is the type of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that is at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this greatest doc.
