When you no longer need your maternity clothes, why not make extra money! Of course, one option is to pass the clothes along to friends or family members who are expecting. You can also find local relevant charities who might need them or donate them to thrift shops. Or you could even sell the clothes at local consignment stores. But these websites/places are also perfect for selling your maternity clothes, in order to make extra cash!
Mercari
Mercari is a fast and easy way to sell or buy almost anything. List your item in minutes! Sign up for Mercari and get up to $30 with my invitation link.
Poshmark
The #1 app to buy and sell fashion. Make money and shop over 5,000 brands at up to 70% off! It’s fun and easy. Sign up with my code MLEV15 to get $10 off your first order.
ThredUP
ThredUp is super easy to do. You request they send you a bag for the clothes. You put your clothes in the bag when it arrives and send it along by USPS. You then wait to find out from them what they are willing to sell of yours on consignment and how much money they can offer you. Once the items sell, you collect your cash! You can choose to have your clothes they don’t want sent back to you or you can have them donate them. There is also a new option to get store credit to your favorite store instead of cash for your bag of clothing.
Tradesy
At Tradesy, you can list new or gently used clothes within seconds. It is free to post, and then if you sell, you earn up to 80% and can get the cash by Paypal or to shop on their site.
Kid To Kid
Kid to Kid has locations throughout the country where you can bring in your kids’ outgrown items and your outgrown maternity wear, and then you get paid immediately! You can choose cash or 20% more in trade value.
Motherhood Closet
Gather your clean stylish maternity clothes, register your consignment, and you will then receive an email with a free shipping label and shipping instructions to ship your items to Motherhood Closet – Maternity Consignment. Then, earn up to 80% for your consigned items that sell!
Ebay
An obvious option is ebay! An easy way to do it would be to sell a “lot” or bundle of items and group together clothes in similar sizes or styles for expecting moms to bid on. For instance, if you have a few pairs of gently worn maternity jeans, you can sell a lot of pants for one price. Rather than selling each and every item individually, which can be time-consuming to write descriptions and take pics.
What did I miss? What did you do with your old maternity clothes?
