OK – so some of you have shared you are not as into the posts that aren’t food and drink focused, BUT I am into fashion, so here goes!
I couldn’t resist sharing my first Stitch Fix contents!
How Stitch Fix Works – You fill out an online style profile and receive a box of five-hand picked items from personal stylists based on your unique preferences. Plus you get styling tips on cards for each piece. You keep and pay for only what you like and send back everything else in a prepaid envelope they provide. The $20 styling fee goes toward your order, if you keep anything and if you keep EVERYTHING you get a discount! It really is so fun to get a surprise box of goodies and they make it super easy to try on at your own pace and then return what you don’t love.
Here is what I received:
1. Necklace ($48)
2. Oversized black cowl neck sweater ($64)
3. Lace pattern shirt $58
4. Black and grey dress $88
5. Black leggings $38
All of the items were a little bit more expensive then I expected but I must say the sweater was the most luxurious soft material, the leggings really flattering, and the shirt, very fashionable. BUT guess what happened to the necklace? I wore it one time and it broke! So back it went. I only kept one item…can you guess what it is ?
If you guessed the dress, you are correct! I love everything about it! The loose fit, the material, the pattern, and the colors! I wore it out for Sal and my anniversery dinner and am sure I will get a ton of wears out of it this winter!
All the items were nice but I already have a go-to pair of black leggings, I don’t know how often I would really wear the sweater, and the lace shirt fit nice in the front but weirdly over my butt in the back!
Fun concept right? Have you heard of or received a Stitch Fix?

While I’ll pass on signing up for snitch fix, I must say that the Navajo necklace is stunning.
I hope you kept it; it would look great with a black turtleneck.
You could wear it to your seven fish festival on Christmas eve as it’s a very celebratory and elegant piece.

Sorry to hear it broke. Was it just poorly made or did you pull on it too hard and break it?
It didn’t look cheap, but sometimes things made on Indian reservations suffer because the artists don’t always have the best tools.
It’s a shame how America has neglected it’s Native American people, but buying Navajo made jewelry will certainly help the tribe and the great artists who make this beautiful jewelry.

One of the little gems slid off so definitely was a manufacturing issue that the glue or whatever didn’t stick! Was so pretty though !

You excited for Christmas? Nothing can top last year, but who knows what that crazy Italian has up his sleeve.
I’m going to go to the midnight service at a trinity church in copley…it’s really beautiful.
You and Sal should come. I’ll be wearing a red sweater with white pearls.
