I am so excited to share a ridiculously easy and pretty darn tasty cookie with you! Krusteaz sent over some Molten Deep Dish Chocolate Cookie Mix to give a try. You know I love my caramel center cookies from this post.
Anyways I was thrilled to see you only need TWO ingredients plus the mix. I am slacking on grocery shopping so that made for easy baking today! You just need one egg and one stick of butter.
Check this out. Easy to to the max.
You mix up the ingredients with a spoon or dig right in with your hands and it forms a nice firm cookie dough like so.
Then you make up 24 cookie dough balls. Fill a greased muffin pan and place one ball of dough on the bottom of each muffin cup.
Then you snip off the corner of the caramel packet they give you and squeeze a dollop in the center of each cookie/tin.
Next up you take the other half of cookie dough balls, flatten them, place them over the caramel and cookie dough and gently press the edges down.
And you end up with these beauties ready to bake!
Twenty minutes of baking at 350 plus 5 minutes of cooling, and you have this….
They look awesome, am I right? But now for the real test. Will they really look ooey and gooey and caramely like the box.
The answer to that question is…..
YES! Perfect is all I can say. The mixes are at all the major grocery stores….Shaw’s, Stop & Shop, etc. And get this. They also have other mixes like quick breads (including banana!) and with St. Patrick’s Day here and all the beer being consumed, yes they have beer bread too!
