Here are my worthwhile reads from the web from the week of 12/9:
How festive does this cocktail look and probably taste? I found this awesome Peppermint Stick cocktail recipe on Mother Thyme and I wouldn’t mind a sip right now, actually!
My Essential Holiday Baking Guide on Cookies & Cups has 100 holiday recipes! Wowza! Cookies, brownies, candy…you name it, she’s got it!
You have got to check out Fried Brussels Sprouts with Smoky Honey Aioli on How Sweet It Is. Fried food along with a dipping sauce is a winning combo in my book. No, it’s not a healthy way to cook but at least the main ingredient here is a veggie, am I right?
Two things are amazing about this blog post on Baked by Rachel. One is the handy indoor garden she’s got going on thanks to a new gadget and the other is the recipe for Bacon-Basil Pesto and Chicken Pizza! I need to try this for sure!
I feel guilty about all the couch time I had this weekend. Snow storm’s for me usually equal snacks on the couch and really cheesy, predictable Hallmark Channel movies. I know, it’s bad. Anyways I feel even more lazy especially after stumbling upon this: Work Out While You Watch TV! video. It has really easy exercise ideas to do at home. Perhaps I should have tried some, instead of just sitting like a bump on a log.
How to Unleash Your Inner Creative Genius has some good tips for you to clear your mind and get back on track and focused!
What about you, how was your weekend and/or what articles or recipes caught your eye this week?

That cocktail is yummy but full of empty calories
Be careful drinking those sneaky drinks….sneak up on you and get you drunk (and you know where that can lead…hahaha) and sneak up and add calories…
Just my opinion….

Hey, it’s the holidays… Festive rules
I love homemade eggnog loaded with dark rum and cognac…
It’s fun to make too…beating egg whites separately and adding at the end is the key
I’m making a batch this weekend and adding goslings rum and delemain cognac
Yummy!!!!!

I absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your
post’s to be what precisely I’m looking for. Do you offer guest writers to write
content available for you? I wouldn’t mind composing a post or elaborating on
some of the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome site!
