I already shared a peek into what I ate last week including my Valentine’s Day with the bf, which included an awesome dinner and my surprise edible arrangement for him. Plus I shared a yummy, healthy smoothie I had. But I also have a few other food pics worth sharing. You will be shocked to hear I did not go out to eat and only brought in a few items for take out! That is a BIG change from past eats from last week, don’t cha agree?
Anyways, on the take out front, the bf did bring me my favorite calzone from his restaurant, which is steak, cheese, peppers, mushrooms, and onions.
On my way home from my work out one night, I was exhausted and knew cooking wasn’t in the cards, so I got cheese tortellini with pesto from the already prepared food section of the Golden Goose market.
I did pick up some grocery items too while I was there, to nosh on all week. For snack, I finally tried the new Raspberry Choco Fix Chobani! Pretty tasty! Totally curious about the other flavors as well.
One afternoon this happened for a snack. Have you ever had pizza Triscuits? So simple, yet so tasty.
I also dug into the Triscuits one day for lunch, where I had them with chicken salad on top, plus sliced red seedless grapes, which really hit the spot.
Another delicious lunch was a tomato, basil, mozzarella sandwich with a little bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar drizzled on it.
I also enjoyed a warm asparagus salad over mixed greens featuring lemon juice, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, with grated fresh parmesan as an appetizer to my dinner.
The star of the show was one of my favorite easy dinners. Chicken parmesan using Bell & Evans frozen garlic breaded chicken breasts with melted provolone cheese and tomato sauce.
I made French onion soup this past weekend with cheesy bread/croutons (recipe to be shared soon!).
I also won a giveaway on My Judy the Foodie and my Fat Witch Brownies from the giveaway arrived this week. I gave some to the bf to bring on his ski weekend getaway, put some aside for a friend, snacked on a couple, and put the rest in the freezer for when a sweet tooth strikes again.
That’s all folks! Happy Monday/Presidents Day!
