Sunday is all about football for most people, am I right? I don’t really care too much for the game but I do like the food hehe. Always a party pleaser on game day? Cheesy, creamy buffalo chicken dip to nosh on. Instead of putting out a bowl of it for people to hover over (and double dip-yuck!) why not make up a small batch and stuff it in celery sticks or even drizzled inside baked Tostitos Scoops!
Then people can grab a couple to snack on with the dip already divvied out and sit down to watch the game without making a mess and dealing with someone hogging all of it. It is also great for parties big (double the recipe) or small (ahem- New Year’s eve is tomorrow!), so people can eat it with one hand and have a drink in the other. And the best news of all? You can make it in your microwave in a small batch in less than 5 minutes!
Buffalo chicken dip stuffed celery and chips
Ingredients:
1 can (4.5 oz) Chunk Chicken Breast, drained
½ a tub of 8 oz. Philadelphia soft cream cheese
1/4 cup Ken’s blue cheese salad dressing
¼ cup of Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce
¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Celery stalks, washed, trimmed, and cut in half
Tostitos Scoops
Directions:
In a microwave safe bowl combine all ingredients beside cheddar cheese and stir. Then sprinkle on cheddar cheese to cover most of top layer. Microwave for around 3 and a half minutes, until bubbly, hot, and melted. Give it a stir to combine all ingredients and allow to cool for a minute before placing into celery stalks and onto scoops chips. Arrange all dip filled chips and celery on a plate or platter and serve warm immediately!
This recipe was inspired by Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe.
