Herradura’s Brand Ambassador Mark Drew has created two tequila margarita recipes based on the colors of both teams! Their New England Patriots margarita is a silver cocktail that includes Herradura Silver and Cointreau while the New York Giants margarita is a blue drink that has Herradura Reposado with Agave nectar. Celebrate Super Bowl XLVI with one of the following recipes:
Patriots Margarita
Ingredients:
1 12 oz Herradura Silver
12 oz Cointreau
18 oz Silver food coloring
34 oz Lime Juice
Instructions:
Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker
Take care to add only a touch of coloring as a little goes a long way
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or alternatively serve over ice in an old fashioned glass
Herradura Margaritas
Giants Margarita
Ingredients:
2oz Herradura Reposado
18 oz Royal blue edible coloring
34 oz Lime Juice
12 oz Agave nectar
Instructions:
Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker
Take care to add only a touch of coloring as a little goes a long way
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or alternatively serve over ice in an old fashioned glass
