Eat and Sip in the City

My eats from last week

It’s been a busy couple of weeks and I realized I hadn’t shared my eats from last week. So here is a round-up of my eats from the past two weeks! Since I had lots of days off for turkey day, I haven’t gone grocery shopping too much, so a few delicious lunches at my desk were consumed. I also had a dinner out in Seaport and a really tasty meal in the North End too after a Christmas tree lighting and concert.

First up, I’ll share my quick lunches!

Pret A Manger

pret a manger

Recommend: salads with skinny dressing and soups.

Bruegger’s Bagel Bakery

bruggers

Recommend: Lunch special: bagel sandwich, soup, and a soda for only $6.99!

Sakurabana

sushi

Recommend: sushi lunch special with spicy tuna, salmon and avocado, salad, and miso soup.

Max’s Deli Cafe

maxs

Recommend: turkey club, egg salad, BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and reuben.

One of the quick dinners I got after working late was:

J Pace & Son

https://jpaceandson.com/

j pace salad

Recommend: prepared food section with soups, pasta dishes, meatballs, salads, and made-to-order sandwiches and subs.

The two more memorable dinners out the past couple of weeks were:

Temazcal Tequila Cantina

https://temazcalcantina.com/

margguacipad

Recommend: chips with salsa, guacamole, and margaritas. Love that each guest gets an ipad to check out their menu!

Salvatore’s

salvatores

Recommend:  We got caeasar salad and pizza to split along with the stuffed chicken parmesan with pasta. The stand out was definitely the chicken!

Trattoria Il Panino and Giardino

https://www.trattoriailpanino.com/

calamarieggplanttrattoria

Recommend: Calamari was cooked well, wine tasty and reasonably priced, bread rustic and served with good olive oil. Eggplant appetizer not worth the money. But the star of the meal was the Paccheri Al Ragu – signature neapolitan rigatoni, slow cooked lamb, beef, veal and pork ragu, served in a skillet. There was enough for lunch the next day!

Work got out early the day before turkey day, so to the bar we went!

Good Life

good life

Recommend: Pumpkin beer with cinnamon sugar rim!

Hope you had a delicious, food and fun filled couple of weeks too!

I was way to excited to see it was only 15 calories! It is hard to find healthy dressings at restaurants these days 🙂
