Creepy suicidal bear Halloween cupcakes

Instead of spiders, eye balls, black cats, or other cupcake toppers, I decided to do something a bit different. Bears hanging themselves! Disturbing, am I right? I do wish I had more time and could have piped in raspberry or strawberry filling for a bloody effect inside. Or maybe had some dripping blood (icing) on the bear, which would’ve creeped its way onto the white cupcake. But this is what I came up with!

I basically used store bought vanilla cake mix and vanilla frosting. I found jumbo gummy bears and the pull-n-peel Twizzlers.

You just have to bake the cupcakes as directed on the box. In this case, it just needed egg whites, oil, and water all mixed up.

Then after a few minutes, fill up the baking cups and bake.

While they are baking, it is time to get your suicidal bears together. I tied a knot around the neck with the Twizzler’s, which was hidden on the back.

Once the cupcakes are cool, frost them, place one bear on each, and there you have it!
