Hope everyone had a great week. For me, it was a busy one! I had dinner at home with the bf to start the week off, a lot of writing to cram in Tuesday, personal trainer and work out night Wednesday, and Thursday, a work housewarming happy hour. Friday was a work breakfast and relaxing evening and Saturday and Sunday, the bf and I headed to Mohegan Sun (more on that later!). Because I knew I would be eating out all weekend, I didn’t eat out nearly as much as usual during the week. I had a few groceries to use up, which kept my eating habits simple. Check it out for yourself in my eats from last week.
Where I ate and drank:
Monday: The usual Finagle-a-bagel breakfast provided by work, followed by tuna on a wheat wrap at Rebecca’s Café for lunch. Dinner, the bf cooked for me for Meatless Monday! So delicious. We had grilled salmon alongside salad and pasta pomodoro.
Tuesday: No eating out for me! Brought in wheat English muffins to eat all week for breakfast, so I had one with jelly alongside a green tea. For lunch, I had honey ham on a thin wheat deli roll with mustard and mixed greens and tomatoes from the bf’s garden. Snack was a TLC raspberry cereal bar along with an apple and dinner was kept simple with a salad and a few wheat crackers with cheese and turkey on them.
Wednesday: Another day of avoiding eating out! Started the day with an English muffin with pb and jelly. Lunch was a thin wheat deli roll with buffalo chicken slices with a small side of pasta salad. Snack I brought in a quarter cup of trail mix to nosh on before the work out! And dinner, I picked up a piece of already made chicken at Golden Goose and had it with salad from home. Dessert was a Fiber One brownie! I really am a fan of them – 90 calories!
Thursday: Yet another English muffin with jelly and for lunch, I went out with my business partner/co-worker for our last lunch before she is off on maternity leave. She had a craving for Buccieri’s Café, one of our favorites in Financial District, and Thursday night we had a work housewarming happy hour! The hostess- with- the-mostest served buffalo chicken dip, BLT dip, spinach and artichoke dip, and pesto topped Italian bread toasted with cheese on it. A nice spread to have with wine, vodka drinks, and pumpkin beer to go with it.

Check out some of the snacks we had at the party:
Friday: The building management company (at our new office) was nice enough to cater a breakfast at work! They had a variety of bagels, muffins, and fruit, from Boston News Café, which I had never been to. I had a piece of a pumpkin muffin top and some of a sesame bagel with an iced coffee and was very satisfied with the selection. For lunch, I had brought in another buffalo chicken sandwich. Snack was a small slither of Colossal Cupcake from Crumbs for a co-worker’s b-day. And for dinner, I was tired and lazy and got one of my favorite cheap take-out meals, a Chipotle meat, pinto bean, and brown rice bowl.

Recommend: Only tried the catered continental breakfast, which was great.
Crumbs Bake Shop
Recommend: Everything in there. I seriously have never had a cupcake I didn’t like. I even wrote about it on Examiner.
Saturday/Sunday: Off to Mohegan Sun for the Sun BrewFest! The bf brought Imperial Pizza in the car to snack on on the way. At the casino, beside the beer festival, we ate and drank at:
