Eat and Sip in the City

Worthwhile reads from the web this week

Here are my worthwhile reads from the web this week (for this week 10/1):

One of things in the rotation of dinners that we ate when I was growing up was tuna casserole. Surprisingly I never eat it today even though I remember loving it back then. So I am going to change that and make up Martha Stewart’s lighter version.

Another pasta dish that caught my eye this week was Smitten Kitten’s spaghetti with broccoli cream pesto.

And yet I also am intrigued by another pasta recipe, from Eat Yourself Skinny. Do you see a theme here? Fall is upon us and all my favorite websites are featuring warm, comfort foods like pasta dishes. This pumpkin ravioli sounds so delicious.

Another pumpkin and fall-centric recipe that would be tasty this season is the Apple Cinnamon Pumpkin Pancakes on Litty Bitty Bakes.

Onto another carb; potatoes! Crispy Garlicky Mustard Roasted Red Skin Potatoes from Simply Scratch sound like a great alternative to mashed potatoes, which the bf and I always tend to have as a side with meat.

If you are taking a few road trips this fall (like me! Mohegan Sun last night!), it is good to have some healthy options to consider at the fast food joints along the way, thanks to Health.

I have a confession to make. I may or may not have been watching Dirty Dancing on TV instead of the debate. So I was glad to see a short recap on The Every Girl, to catch me up.

Boston made USA Today’s 10 best beer cities in the world!

I knew about most of these but not all of the Hot Foods to Rev Up Your Sex Life! on My Daily Moment.

Two winners will receive copies of the new cookbook “Made with Love” by entering this giveaway:

Hope you had a great weekend!
