I made it into Granary Tavern last night and I definitely had a great time and will head back. It has a prime location in the Financial District, steps from Faneuil Hall, with a patio overlooking the Greenway. My co-workers just had drinks and were surprised at how busy and upbeat it was.
We got a large, tall square table with four stools and plenty of space for our bigger group to crowd around. The waitress was very attentive and brought us a menu but we actually didn’t eat. I noticed though that people surrounding us were ordering chicken and waffles, flatbread pizzas, and the lobster roll, and would love to give one of those a try soon.
I liked the warm décor with dim lighting, brick walls, dark wood throughout, and leather seating along the walls. It was actually a lot bigger then I realized from the outside, with a downstairs area as well as two different rooms inside, and the patio.
They had a section on the drinks menu called “cannery at the granary.” I was way too excited blueberry beer was on the list! One thing they did not have was Corona though which was surprising. 
All and all a good experience. And a cool concept to have a bar based around the 19th-century granary that had originated there. It was definitely an older, after work crowd, unlike neighboring bar Jose McIntyre’s and seems to be doing well! Let me know if you have been in yet and what you thought!
