Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro, located on charming Charles Street, will offer a new cocktail, “The Obama,” in celebration of the president’s support for marriage equality and gay rights.
In the spirit of Boston Pride Week and from now through June 10th, 2012, head there for the special drink for $11. They cleverly chose ingredients inspired by the acronym “LGBT” (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender) and include lillet, gin, blueberry and tonic in the cocktail.

The Obama
Ingredients:
2 oz Lillet Blanc
2 oz Gin
5 Blueberries
Tonic Water
Directions:
In a rocks glass muddle blueberries.
Top with ice.
Add gin, lillet, and lightly shake.
Finish with tonic water.
Serve on the rocks, garnished with two blueberries.
