This week flew by. My day job was a bit busy since a couple of days I was without the other admin and then I also had my personal training session and walk with my work out buddy. Thursday the bf took me to Home Depot to get my fire escape garden going (more on that in another post) and this weekend was his college buddy’s wedding (also more on that later too). But on the web, there was also a lot going on (week of the 4th), with tons of summer recipes!
Taste as You Go featured a Tuna Nicoise salad recipe inspired by Julia Child, that would make a good lunch or dinner when the temperatures are heating up this summer.
Little Bitty Bakes posted a recipe for Dark Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies using Greek yogurt that sounds delic.
Another cookie that caught my eye is Martha Stewart’s chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich recipe.
Elements of Style is getting ready for father’s day with a gift guide.
The 27 Sneaky ways to burn off 500 calories from She Knows makes you realize you don’t necessarily have to go to a gym to get in shape.
Glitter Guide included a few dessert recipes for summer in their round up of how to Celebrate Summer with a No-Bake Dessert Party.
New cookbook alert! Boston Zest posted about The Boston Homegrown Cookbook: Local Food, Local Restaurants, Local Recipes, available this month.
And new bar alert! Emerald Lounge is open for biz in Boston.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
